Jesus is My Everything - Week 4.

The next point I want to make is this: Depend on the Power of the Holy Ghost.

Everything we do must come from and through Him. We are not called to do things of our own power. We must learn to lean not to our own understanding, but we must learn to trust God in all things. It is always Him; He is our everything… It is never us. This is not our fight, it is his.

     A. He told us in Mathew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

               a. This tells me we do not have to do the heavy lifting in this journey. All we have to do is say, “Let your will be done Lord” and then follow as He leads us.

     B. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and Lean not unto your own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD AND depart from evil.

     C. Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him (God) that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can as or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

     D. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
