Let’s talk about “Life”…
Life is not where you live, who you live with or even what you do…
Life is the “fingerprint” you leave on the lives of others. Life is the Joy you feel in your heart and freedom you feel in your mind no matter where you spend your time. Life is the joy you bring others during your walk on this earth, and the joy you allow others to bring you. Life is LOVE…
The two greatest commandments in the Bible are found in Matthew 22:37-39:
'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.
And in Deuteronomy 6:5 it says: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
This tells me that Love is very important to our God. To life our life to the fullest we must learn to not only give love freely but to receive it as well. So … to me this says… Life is Love.
To live our life to the fullest God has instructed us in these two greatest of all commandments to Love Him and Love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Did you get that? We must also love ourselves. We can never love others fully if we do not love ourselves and we learn to love ourselves though fulfilling the first of these two commandments in Loving God with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength because in this relationship between God and our self we learn to love our self the way He loves us. Once we begin to see our self and love our self the way HE loves and sees us then we can truly fulfill the second commandment of loving others the way we love our self.
We are commanded here to Love… I said earlier that Life is Love… Let me expand on that a little. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the Way, the Truth & the Life. Then the Bible tells us in 1 John 4:16 that God is Love. OK so we see here that Jesus is the Life and God is Love. Correct? Correct. So now let’s look at John for a minute. John 1:1 says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Then in John 1:14 it says: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So here we see our connection. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Then the word became flesh and dwelt among us. So, if the word is God, and then the word became flesh and dwelt among us which we know that speaks of Jesus, then this tells me that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. Correct? Correct. So now, back to Jesus is the Life and God is Love. This now being proven by the word above I conclude from the facts that Life is Love… (food for thought).
OK… so let’s talk about Life… Again, I come back to Life is not where you live, who you live with or even what you do. Life is about the Love of God flowing thru us to others and us allowing His love to flow from others to us. Therefore, leaving a “fingerprint” of God on each of us via our interactions and allowing HIS love to flow freely… This is LIFE… 😊 No matter our physical state of being during this journey we are on… Life is what we make it. Life is Love. It is up to us if we live or just exist. I say let’s live.
God said in Deuteronomy 30:19-20 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. This scripture says: Choose Life… Then it goes on to say for he (God) is thy life. To me this is clear that God is telling us that with Him your life is complete. He is our life, He is our Love. He is our All and All. So, in standing on this word… Let’s talk today about Life. Let HIM be in your every conversation. Let HIM be in your every thought. Let HIM be your LIFE… The call has clearly gone out. He has called us to be like Him and therefore, has called us to life… So, let’s talk about Life today in every conversation. Let’s talk about our Love, Our God, Our Savior Jesus Christ… Let’s talk about our Heavenly Father… For he is great and greatly to be praised. Let HIS Love flow and let’s leave that Heavenly “fingerprint” on others. 😊 Let’s let God have his way today.
